Psychotherapist & Group Analyst

There are many different reasons to come to therapy; sometimes it is obvious such as a particular crisis at home or work, a breakdown in relationship or issues surrounding health.  Life can feel overwhelmingly stressful and the pressure to carry on can become unbearable.  At other times there can be a more generalised disquiet or thirst to explore and live a fuller life.

I believe that we all have an innate capacity for health and to connect to others; that when life feels challenging and hopeless there is the opportunity for change. Therapy can create long lasting and meaningful changes leading to more fulfilling relationships and creativity.

My approach

I work with people of different ages and backgrounds with wide-ranging issues. I provide a confidential, physically comfortable and emotionally conducive space where we can explore your inner world to make sense of the issues you bring to therapy.

About me

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist, Group Analyst and Training Group Analyst offering long term individual and group analytic psychotherapy or shorter more focused work as well as supervision.

Alongside my private practice, I am an honorary psychotherapist for the Trauma Unit at the Tavistock Clinic, in the historical childhood abuse team.

I have a special interest in working with unexplained physical symptoms; making sense of the body’s communication and what I see as the transformational quality of putting this into words.
